Following the instructional post on
How To Tiedye, I bring to you a second series:
Cooking Japanese Curry. Hahahaha! Since Ros ate it at Sushi Tei that day, I thought it was a simple yet yummy thing to make for my parents to bring to work. (too bad boyf doesnt eat curry + he's in camp) Bought the ingredients after class on monday.

Step 1!! get ready all the ingredients!
in my case, i'm adding potatoes, carrots, silken tofu and chicken. I'm also using Vermont Curry stock bought from Carrefour (: feel free to throw in ingredients to your preference. I'm thinking boiled onions or other meats would be good, no? Oh yes, do ignore the green apples behind (sniggers)

2. Wash your rice (i'm using Japanese rice) till the water runs clear then cook it as usual!

3. save time! while your rice is cooking, proceed to chop up all your ingredients!

silken tofu sliced into cubes~

carrots and potatoes~ oops, potatoes not cut yet

chicken! :D

4. I actually skipped a step :x didn't have the chance to take a photo of the sautéing of the chicken, carrots and potatoes. Please do that first! :b I added about 4 cups of water after that and left it to boil under a small flame~

close up for you guys~

5. After about 15 mins, proceed to remove the curry stock! Here's how it looks. I added 5 "cubes" by the way (You're looking at 6 "cubes", uncut)

6. Stir well!!! I added the tofu after stirring.

close up~ leave to cook over low flame for about another 20 mins.

7. While the curry was cooking, i packed the rice for my parents (:

8. finished product! :D one container of rice + curry each for my mom and dad. bwahahhaa.

9. Cooked more rice and decided to pack the rest into a big bowl to bring to school and share with serene before lecture yesterday :b YAY
p/s: serene gave me choco baby in return!
p/p/s: what else should i do an instructional post on? AHAHAH
